Jerome T. Blaschke, O.D. (Jerry) grew up in La Crosse, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, majoring in biology, chemistry and rugby. After graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, he moved to the Minneapolis area, believing that Minnesota is the same as Wisconsin, except they root for different football teams. His areas of interest include management of ocular disease, unusual and difficult contact lens fittings, and careful refractions to give patients their most precise vision possible. He and wife, Wendy, live in Independence with daughter Brianna, and "the boys", Max and Jack.
