Dr. Kevin Rodda obtained his optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2018 and began his career in private practice immediately following graduation. Dr. Rodda, a native of Northeast Ohio, graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio in 2011 and spent three years living and working in Cincinnati, Ohio prior to attending optometry school. Dr. Rodda was very active as an optometry student, serving as class treasurer, a student blogger for the college, and as Student Council president. Additionally, upon graduation Dr. Rodda received the Dr. Lyle Aloysius John Gassman Memorial Award, which is presented annually to the graduate who best exemplifies Dr. Gassman’s humanitarian characteristics, leadership qualities, and service to others. Dr. Rodda was also honored with membership in Beta Sigma Kappa honor fraternity recognizing academic achievement in optometry school.
Dr. Rodda lives in south Minneapolis and was raised a Twins fan in the heart of Cleveland Indians territory. An avid baseball fan, Dr. Rodda has been to 20 different current baseball stadiums, 27 different stadiums overall, and hopes to someday make it to all 30 current stadiums. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the cities, catching Twins games, and checking out local breweries.
Dr. Rodda is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Minnesota Optometric Association.
